University Productions presents “Midsummer Night’s Dream” this fall

EDINBURG, TEXAS – October 18, 2017 – UTRGV’s University Productions this fall will present the classical Shakespearean comedy, “A Midsummer Night’s Dream.”

Arguably Shakespeare’s most popular comedy, “A Midsummer Night’s Dream” presents a blend of fantasy, romance and slapstick humor that appeals to a broad range of tastes.

The production runs Nov. 8-11 at 7:30 p.m., with a 2 p.m. matinee on Nov. 12, at the Albert L. Jeffers Theatre in the ELABS Building, located on the corner of University Drive and Sugar Road on the UTRGV Edinburg Campus.

Open dress rehearsal is scheduled for 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 7.

Tickets are $15 for general admission, and $5 for UTRGV students, faculty and staff with a current school ID. No children below third grade will be admitted.

The University of Texas Rio Grande Valley (UTRGV) was created by the Texas Legislature in 2013 as the first major public university of the 21st century in Texas.
